LC4 Chaise - As seen on Fiat 500 TV Ad

Very comfortable and avant-garde masterpiece invented by the pioneer of modern classic furniture and  architecture Le Corbusier,Swiss born and originally named Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris. The LC4 was designed in 1928 for the furnishing of a villa in the Ville d’ Avray, and utilises exposed structural elements with padded leather cushion and headrest. This recognisable chaise lounge, described as the relaxing machine,was presented to the 'Salon d'Automne' in 1929, and included in the permanent collection of the  New York City Museum of Modern Art.

Saarinen Tulip Chair As Seen on Star Treck TV Series 

In the late 1960's the Tulip chair played a highly visible role on the TV show  where they appeared on the bridge set of the U.S.S. Enterprise, as well as throughout the rest of the ship. The bridge chairs were slightly modified Tulip chairs that featured plastic appliqués attached to their back panels. After the show was cancelled most of the set furnishing were discarded into trash dumpsters. Fortunately, several of the shows bridge chairs were salvaged, and have become highly prized collectibles. An original bridge Tulip chair was offered during the Hollywood Auction #17, selling for $18,000.
